In today’s modern environment the safety of personnel is of the utmost importance and R.A.S. Security Systems can supply, install and maintain Personal Attack Alarm systems. These systems range from the standard audible system, by means of a push button, to silent alarms transmitted to a monitoring centre.
There are simple portable alarm systems that staff or residents can carry on their person to specialised units which can locate a person and also give a warning if that individual is attacked. These systems are also used for lone workers out servicing equipment in remote sites. If a lone worker has an accident it may be a long time before someone would realise what had happened, whereas if they have an accident an alarm is generated immediately and help can be summoned.
By using the GPRS version their location can be identified so that the emergency services can arrive at the right location in a reasonable amount of time.
