R.A.S. Security Systems provides, installs and maintains Intruder Alarm Systems to meet the requirement of the European Standard EN50131. The company installs Intruder Alarm Systems in domestic, high-end residential, commercial, retail and industrial facilities. Systems can cover single area or multiple areas in the case of multiple tenant applications. The systems can be integrated with other systems, such as CCTV and Access Control.
The systems supplied by R.A.S. Security Systems can cover all the requirements for domestic, commercial and retail applications. The equipment used ranges from magnetic contacts, inertia sensors, passive infra red movement detectors, dual technology detectors and all systems are provided with the necessary sounders to indicate an activation of the system. All monitored systems comply with the requirements for verification, as detailed in the Garda Policy on Intruder Alarm Systems. All systems installed can be monitored by an Alarm Receiving Centre approved by the Private Security Authority. The systems can be monitored, either by using a standard telephone line, or by using GSM monitoring, or both, as the situation may require.
The response to alarm activations has been a worry for many companies and to alleviate the situation in relation to staff being keyholders, R.A.S. Security Systems can arrange for keyholding to be carried out by a guarding company Licensed by the Private Security Authority. Maintenance contracts, which provide for 24/7 support in the event of their being any problems with the alarm system, are available for all systems installed by R. A. S. Security Systems. The systems provided by R.A.S. Security Systems meet the highest standards in respect of installation and equipment used.
