There is now a requirement that each premises should be inspected annually to ensure that it complies with the electrical regulations where applicable and that the electrical installation is safe for people to operate. This is a key requirement in respect of health and safety legislation and also insurance companies are now requesting that clients have these inspections carried out on their premises annually.
R.A.S. Electrical will provide a condition report on the existing installation including recommendations for improvement. The condition report would be in the form as agreed by RECI – the Register of Electrical Contractors in Ireland and the programme of improvement would ensure that items which need to be improved, rectified or repaired are carried out within the appropriate timescale.
